Well, I had a streak of making every BBT5 break that lasted until tonight.
But I really should have been chipleader five minutes in.
Hand in question. Five hands in, still 15/30 blinds.
75% on the flop (wow), 86% on the turn.

I love Poker Grump. He writes a great blog, and usually has a wonderful read for where he's at in hands, especially live cash games.
But this was a godawful fuckkit call on his part for 80BB effective in a tournament.
Limped pot, I pot the second nuts on a rainbow board to build a pot, there's a raise and reraise for a third of the SB's stack in front of me, so the likelihood of him folding to a jam is like 1%... AND I stick it in anyway?
Let's see, limped pot preflop with basically 90BB behind pretty much discounts any pairs TT and above - I'm only in for 90 chips plus the blind... it's very possible one of these guys spiked two pair or a combo draw with 87/86/46/45/etc. So what am I shoving into these guys with given that I'm getting called more often than not?
Bottom two pair basically sucks against that range, we're looking at sets/straights and combo draws, and maybe an overpair if you think I really suck. Hell, 56 is drawing dead against a decent portion of that range, even counting card removal for 55 and 66.
Anyway, I still have 20BB after the hand, so I float around for a couple of levels... I finally open AcTc in EP for 275 over a limper with a 1K stack, and Grump flats... which sucks given relative stack sizes, he has to have a hand here. Flop comes AK9 with two spades, which is great and sucks at the same time, I go ahead and jam pot into AdQd and bounce 90th of 99.
I sweated Jenn for a while, she got busted on this hand...
Photojenn limps Ah9h UTG for 100 with 4700 in chips, UTG+1 pots to 350, BB flats (LOL you'll see why), she flats.
Flop Jh8h5c. BB ledes 500, jenn minraises, UTG+1 folds, BB calls.
Turn Tc, BB tanks, donks 1K into a 3100 pot. Jenn jams for 3500. BB TANK CALLS with Js7c.
River bricks, she's out in 73rd.
I love everything but the flop minraise, I thought it should have been larger.
I really love people calling off and sticking 50BB stacks in the middle with TPNK and a gutter draw - hell, she's basically 50-50 on the flop and still 40-60 on the turn.
I hate when I told the wifey I'd ship her $50 if villain called and won while he was tanking, though.
So at least I had some fun Wednesday.
I really really want to play some SCOOP tourneys, but if they are taking 14-18 hours just to get to the final table... ugh, last year's PLO8 run freaking tilted me for days... I will have to reevaluate.
Halfway down the BBT5.
I still feel good despite only cashing once out of eight tourneys. If I get there, great, but I'm not going to worry about results. Do I like how I'm playing? If so, then it's all good.
EDIT: gogogo LJ FTW! What an awesome display of big-stack poker. Nice run.
